DAILY OFFERING SACRED HEARTS JESUS AND MARY
What a great way to start each day.
Beloved Hearts of Jesus and Mary, I offer to you all that I am and all that I may do this day....praying it may be worthy of your love and pleasing to you.
May my words be only sincere and wise, my work honest and true and my thought ever kind and merciful.
Let me listen with my heart as you do, and readily give my help to all in need.
I give you my joys and accept any trial that may come knowing you are near and will draw me closer to your loving Hearts.
Divine Heart of Jesus, Loving Heart of Mary be with me always.

Yes, my favorite again to St. Anne
When I first started this I listed my favorite novenas along with this prayer to St. Anne, the mother of Mary. I like keeping this close by as it is one I say often for strength and other requests. So I am going to post it again, as it is one favorite prayer though not a Novena.
Remember, O holy mother St. Anne, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help and sought thy intercession was left unaided, for thou art a most merciful mother and aid all who are in distress. Inspired with this confidence, I take refuge with thee and beseech thee, by the great prerogative of being the mother of the Queen of Heaven and Grandmother of the Saviour of the world, come to my aid with thy powerful intercession, and obtain from thine Immaculate Daughter this favor (mention favor. In honor of the nine months during which thou didst bear the ever-blessed Virgin in thy womb and bought her forth without stain of Original Sin, I now pray NINE (9) Hail Marys, which I offer thee through my Guardian Angel. Amen

Novena in Honor of Mary Help of Christians
I haven't posted for a few days as I am sadden at the direction our Country is going. Learn your History and you will understand. Now is the time for prayer for Christians to take a stand against Marxism, Communism that seems to be developing by our Government. Let Us Pray for our leaders to turn to God for help and guidance and not radical people. I thank God everyday that my parents raised me to believe all men were created in the likeness of God, no man, woman, child, race, was better than the other. We are all children of God. It is sad to watch men who call themselves as Rev. this or that, pretending to be God's helpers are destroying a true bridge for us all to love and understand each other.
Let us Pray~
Believers see in the Church a family that has as its Mother the Mother of God. Each day of the Novena includes:
1. A brief meditation on the Word of God
2. A prayer of supplication
3. The recitation of a Hail Mary and Glory be to the Father
4. A closing prayer
MEDITATIONS
1. Faith and the acceptance of the Word of God: Luke 1: 26-38
2. Sincere humility: Luke 1: 48
3. Active charity: Luke 1: 36-39
4. Filial love for God: Luke 2: 21, 22, 40
5. Gratitude for our gifts: Luke 1: 46-49
6. Gratitude shown in the offering at the temple: Luke 2: 22-24
7. Poverty accepted with dignity and with trust in the Lord: Luke 1: 48; 2: 24
8. Prayer in the apostolic community: Acts 1:12-14
9. Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother: John 19: 25-27
SUPPLICATIONS
1. O Mary, powerful help of those Christians who approach the throne of your mercy with trust! Listen to the prayers of your children who invoke your help to avoid sin and the occasions of sin.
2. O Mary most holy, kind and merciful mother, with your visible help you freed the Christian people from the ferocious assaults of the Muslims. Free our souls from the attacks of the devil, the world, and the flesh, so that we may always overcome the enemies of our salvation.
3. Most powerful Queen of heaven, you triumphed over heresies which sought to tear your children away from the Church. Come to our assistance so that we may remain steadfast in our faith and may guard the purity of our hearts in the midst of the many dangers that beset us.
4. Mary, our most amiable Mother, you are the Queen of martyrs because of the heroic courage and strength you exercised on earth. Obtain for us the strength we need to be constant in your service and always to show ourselves your devoted children in life and in death.
5. Loving Mother Mary, you showed your powerful protection in the triumph of Pope Pius VII. Spread your mantle over the Church; and protect our Shepherd, the Holy Father, from the attacks of the enemy, free him from all attacks, and assist him always as he steers the bark of St. Peter to safety.
6. Mary, Queen of the Apostles, take under your protection all the ministers and the faithful of the Catholic Church. Fill them with a burning zeal for the salvation of souls, and give special assistance to missionaries so that they may succeed to attract all souls to faith in Jesus Christ and thus form one flock under the guidance of one Shepherd.
7. Loving and merciful Mother, you saved Christians from countless misfortunes. Free us from the plague of infidelity which seeks to alienate us from the Church and religious observances by means of corrupt publications and schools and irreligious sects. Grant perseverance to the good, give strength to the weak, and move sinners to repentance, so that truth and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ may triumph in the world.
8. Mary, Pillar of the Church and Help of Christians, we beg to keep us firmly rooted in our faith and to protect in us our freedom as children of God. We promise not to stain our souls with sin and to obey our Holy Father and the Bishops in communion with him. We want to live and die in the bosom of the Church and to attain eternal salvation.
9. Most loving Mother Mary, you have always been the Help of Christians. Help us with your powerful protection in life and especially at the hour of our death, so that, after having loved and venerated you on earth, we may come to proclaim your mercy in heaven.
PRAYER
Almighty and merciful Lord, in a marvelous manner you deigned to make the most holy Virgin Mary a powerful helper in defense of Christians. Grant that, having fought the good fight under her protection during our life, we may be victorious over our infernal enemy at the hour of our death. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Novena to St. Pius X
Glorious pope of the Eucharist, St. Pius X, you sought “to restore all things in Christ.” Obtain for me a true love of Jesus so that I may live only for Him. Help me to acquire a lively fervor and a sincere will to strive for sanctity of life and that I may avail myself of the riches of the Holy Eucharist, which is sacrifice and sacrament. By your love for Mary, mother and queen, inflame my heart with tender devotion to her.
Blessed model of the priesthood, obtain for us holy, dedicated priests, and increase vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
Dispel confusion, hatred, and anxiety. Incline our hearts to peace so that all nations will place themselves under the reign of Christ. Amen.
St. Pius X, pray for me.

NOVENA TO SAINT BERNADETTE
Dear Saint Bernadette, Chosen by Almighty God as a channel of His Graces and Blessings, and through your humble obedience to the requests of Our Blessed Mother, Mary, you gained for us the Miraculous waters of Spiritual and physical healing.
We implore you to listen to our pleading prayers that we may be healed of our Spiritual and physical imperfections.
Place our petitions in the Hands of our Holy Mother, Mary, so that She may place them at the feet of Her beloved Son, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, that He may look on us with mercy and compassion: (Make Petition)
Help, O Dear Saint Bernadette to follow your example, so that irrespective of our own pain and suffering we may always be mindful of the needs of others, especially those whose sufferings are greater than ours.
As we await the Mercy of God, remind us to offer up our pain and suffering for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins and blasphemies of mankind.
Pray for Saint Bernadette, that like you, we may always be obedient to the will of Our Heavenly Father, and that through our prayers and humility we may bring consolation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary that have been so grievously wounded by our sins.
Holy Saint Bernadette of Lourdes, Pray for us.
AMEN.
One Decade of the Rosary. (1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys, & 1 Glory Be)
Memorare. Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but, in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee. (Say 3 Times)

Reflections
Today is just a day to ponder all the different Novenas listed. I am at the beginning of one of my favorites. But as I do this blog, I am learning new Novenas. The power of prayer is strong. Like I mentioned once, you may not always receive what you are wanting, but God does know what is best for us. Like a child we may not understand our Father, and even be a little mad, but get over it, he is all wisdom and really does know what is best. God Bless all of you!

Most Holy Trinity Novena
This is a beautiful novena.
O Eternal Father
Who are in heaven
where You do crown the merits of those
who in this world serve you faithfully
for the sake of the most pure love
Your little daughter Theresa of the Child Jesus had for You
so as all but to bind You to give her whatever she desires
seeing that while on earth she always did Your will
incline Your ears to the petitions
which she offers up to You on my (our) behalf
and hear too my (our) prayers
by granting me (us) the grace I (we) ask.
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
Glory be...
O Eternal Son of God
You Who have promised to reward the least service
rendered to You in the person of our neighbour
cast a glance of gentle love on Your little spouse
Theresa of the Child Jesus
who with such great zeal
had ever at heart the salvation of souls,
and for the sake of all she has done and suffered
lend a willing ear to her wish
of spending her heaven doing good upon earth
and grant me (us) the grace
I (we) plead for so earnestly from You.
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
Glory be...
O Eternal Holy Spirit,
Who did make perfect with so many graces
the beloved soul of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus
I (we) beseech You for the sake of the fidelity
she showed in ever corresponding with Your graces
to incline Your ear to the prayers
she offers to You on my (our) behalf
and having before You her promise
of letting fall from heaven a shower of roses
mercifully grant me (us)
the grace of which I (we) stand in such need.
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
Glory be...
Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus
who during your short life on earth
became a mirror of angelic purity
of love strong as death
and of whole-hearted abandonment to God
now that we rejoice in the reward of your virtues
cast a glance of pity on me (us)
as I (we) leave all things in your hands.
Make my (our) troubles your own
speak a word for me (us) to Our Lady Immaculate
whose flower of special love you were
to that Queen of Heaven
who smiled on you at the dawn of life.
Beg her as Queen of the Heart of Jesus
to obtain for me (us) by her powerful intercession
the grace I (we) yearn for so ardently at this moment
and that she join with it
a blessing that may strengthen me (us) during life,
defend me (us) at the hour of death,
and lead me (us) straight to a happy eternity.
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
to you do we send up our sighs
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy towards us,
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus
O clement, O loving
O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for Us, O Holy Mother
That we may become worthy of the Promises of Christ
Amen
O Eternal Father
Who are in heaven
where You do crown the merits of those
who in this world serve you faithfully
for the sake of the most pure love
Your little daughter Theresa of the Child Jesus had for You
so as all but to bind You to give her whatever she desires
seeing that while on earth she always did Your will
incline Your ears to the petitions
which she offers up to You on my (our) behalf
and hear too my (our) prayers
by granting me (us) the grace I (we) ask.
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
Glory be...
O Eternal Son of God
You Who have promised to reward the least service
rendered to You in the person of our neighbour
cast a glance of gentle love on Your little spouse
Theresa of the Child Jesus
who with such great zeal
had ever at heart the salvation of souls,
and for the sake of all she has done and suffered
lend a willing ear to her wish
of spending her heaven doing good upon earth
and grant me (us) the grace
I (we) plead for so earnestly from You.

Novena to the Holy Spirit
Novena to the Holy Spirit for the Seven Gifts
ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
On my knees before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses, I offer myself, soul and body to You, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your purity, the unerring keenness of Your justice, and the might of Your love. You are the Strength and Light of my soul. In You I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to grace and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You. Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I may always watch for Your light, and listen to Your voice, and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to You and ask You, by Your compassion to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds, and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore You, Adorable Spirit, Helper of my infirmity, to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You. Give me grace, O Holy Spirit, Spirit of the Father and the Son to say to You always and everywhere, "Speak Lord for Your servant heareth." Amen.
To be recited daily during the Novena
PRAYER FOR THE SEVEN GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
O Lord Jesus Christ Who, before ascending into heaven did promise to send the Holy Spirit to finish Your work in the souls of Your Apostles and Disciples, deign to grant the same Holy Spirit to me that He may perfect in my soul, the work of Your grace and Your love. Grant me the Spirit of Wisdom that I may despise the perishable things of this world and aspire only after the things that are eternal, the Spirit of Understanding to enlighten my mind with the light of Your divine truth, the Spirit of Counsel that I may ever choose the surest way of pleasing God and gaining heaven, the Spirit of Fortitude that I may bear my cross with You and that I may overcome with courage all the obstacles that oppose my salvation, the Spirit of Knowledge that I may know God and know myself and grow perfect in the science of the Saints, the Spirit of Piety that I may find the service of God sweet and amiable, and the Spirit of Fear that I may be filled with a loving reverence towards God and may dread in any way to displease Him. Mark me, dear Lord, with the sign of Your true disciples and animate me in all things with Your Spirit. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
I started realizing that some people don't know those three prayers and quite a few of the novenas ask these to be said at the end. So to refresh memories and teach they are as follows:
OUR FATHER
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be
Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done,
on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
HAIL MARY
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is
the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
God Bless All of Your!

Prayer for a Wayward Child
Again I turn to St. Anne, many prayers asking her to intercede for us I use often. This one was requested I add, it touches a lot of mothers hearts today.
O Holy Mother, St. Anne, so rich in graces!
Thou wilt never leave unheard the pleadings
and tears of a mother who invokes thee for a
wayward child. Thou knowest my grief and the
anguish of my heart. Look down with thy maternal
eyes upon this poor erring child, and bring
him (her) back upon the way of salvation, that
he (she) may again serve God faithfully
and thus obtain eternal happiness.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer For the Sick
Start today with a kind word!!
St. Camillus de Lellis, principal Co-Patron of nurses together with St. John of God,
O glorious Saint Camillus, special patron of the sick, thou who for forty years, with truly heroic charity, didst devote thyself to the relief of their temporal and spiritual necessities, be pleased to assist them now even more generously, since thou art blessed in heaven and they ave been committed by Holy Church to thy powerful protection. Obtain for them from Almighty God the healing of all their maladies, or at least, the spirit of Christian patience and resignation that may sanctify them and comfort them in the hour of their passing to eternity; at the same time obtain for us the precious grace of living and dying after tine example in the practice of divine lov. Amen
Say now an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory be to the Father.

The Beautiful Three Hail Mary Novena
The Three Hail Mary Novena
In Honor of the Power, Wisdom, and Loving Mercy
of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This was a favorite of St. Anthony Padua.
#1
Oh, Immaculate Mary, Virgin most Powerful, I beseech thee, through that immense Power which thou hast received from the eternal Father, obtain for me Purity of heart,---Strength to overcome all the enemies of my soul; ---and the special favor I implore in my present necessity.
[Name it.]
Mother most pure! Forsake me not, despise not my prayer, graciously hear me for God's glory, thy honor, and the welfare of my soul.
To obtain this favor I honor thy Power by reciting:
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.
Amen.
# II
Oh Virgin Mary, My Mother, through that ineffable Wisdom bestowed upon thee by the Incarnate Word of God, I humbly beseech thee, obtain for me Meekness and humility of heart;---a perfect knowledge of the Divine Will and strength to accomplish it always.
Oh Mary, Seat of Wisdom; as a tender Mother lead me in the path of Christian Virtue and perfection; enlighten and enable me to do what is most pleasing to thy beloved Son, and obtain my petition.
[Name it.]
To obtain this grace I honor thy Wisdom by reciting:
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.
Amen.
#III
Oh, Mother of Mercy, Mother of penitent sinners, I stand before thee sinful and sorrowful, beseeching thee through the immense Love given to thee by the Holy Spirit for us poor sinners, obtain for me true and perfect contrition for my sins, which I hate and detest with all my heart, because I love God.
Mother most Merciful, help me in my present necessity.
[Name it.]
Turn, then those eyes of Mercy toward us, Oh Clement, Oh Loving oh Sweet Virgin Mary!
To obtain this precious gift, I honor thy Loving Mercy by reciting:
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

The sign of the cross.
Before each novena, in fact when I start to pray, I make the sign of the cross. You see a lot of athletes make this sign. Have you ever wonder what, if any words went with this action. Yes, it is a simple beautiful prayer.
You start with taking your right hand to the middle of your
forehead and say
IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER
Then you take your hand down to your heart and say
IN THE SON
and then from left shoulder to right shoulder you finish with
AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, AMEN
Your are giving the respect to God and asking for his blessing with this simple prayer which could almost be considered a novena in itself.

Prayer request - please pray for both Gary and Cindy
I received this request from a family member. Let us all join in!!
Prayer request for Gary and Cindy Hogman by way of Faith Presbyterian Church, Emmaus PA
Gary is serving in Iraq while his young wife is fighting cancer here. See his request below.
Bobby S. Briggs, MSgt, USAF

My name is Gary Hogman. Some of you receiving this know me, some do not. My wife, Cindy, is 32 years old and has just been diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and her chances for survival are very slim.
She was pregnant with our second child and had miscarried recently at 3 months, and now we know why. This is a request for you to forward this e-mail to everyone you know asking for prayer. The more people that pray for
her to be healed, the better.
Pray and forward. It only takes a second to hit 'forward'.
Please do it and don't delete this, your prayer can, and perhaps will, save her life. Please pray and ask everyone you know to pray for the HEALING of Cindy and the removal of all cancer in her body, so she may enjoy all that
life has to offer, and to continue to be the wonderful mother to our
5-year-old son Michael. The power of Prayer is unsurpassed. I want the whole world to have her in their prayers the next few weeks. God will hear our cry.
Please do not be offended by my plea. This is only a request for your help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and helping with our
request for healing! No words can express the power we have when we each do a little to come together.
Regards, Cindy's husband - Gary

St. John Vianney Novena
St. John Vianney is known as the Patron for Priests. His feast day is August 4.
The Novena:
Saint John Marie Baptist Vianney you were born of a deeply religious mother; from her you received the Holy Faith; you learned to love God and to pray. At a young age, you were seen kneeling in the front of the statue of Mary. Your soul was supernaturally carried towards the things on High. Despite the high cost, you answered your vocation!
Against many obstacles and contradictions, you had to fight and suffer to become the perfect priest which you were. But your deep spirit of faith supported you in all these battles. 0 Great Saint you know the desire of my soul; I would like to serve God better; from Him I have received so many good things. For this, obtain for me more courage and especially the depth of faith.
Many of my thoughts, words, and actions are useless for my sanctification and for my salvation, because this supernatural spirit does not stir up my life. Help me to be better in the future.
Holy Priest of Ars, I have confidence in your intercession. Pray for me during this novena especially for ... (mention silently your special intentions).
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

St Michael the Archangle
Having a son in the military, plus 2 other young Marines who have been like sons and who call me mom, they are constantly in my prayers. Michael the Archangel is the Patron Saint for our Military. Michael the Archangel is also our defender for the evil in this world.
NOVENA TO ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
Glorious St. Michael, guardian and defender of the Church of Jesus Christ, come to the assistance of His followers, against whom the powers of hell are Unchained. Guard with special care our Holy Father, the Pope, and our bishops, priests, all our religious and lay people, and especially the children.
St. Michael, watch over us during life, defend us against the assaults of the demon, and assist us especially at the hour of death. Help us achieve the happiness of beholding God face to face for all eternity. Amen.
St. Michael, intercede for me with God in all my necessities, especially (state your specific request or intention here!) Obtain for me a favorable outcome in the matter I recommend to you. Mighty prince of the heavenly host, and victor over rebellious spirits, remember me for I am weak and sinful and so prone to pride and ambition. Be for me, I pray, my powerful aid in temptation and difficulty, and above all do not forsake me in my last struggle with the powers of evil. Amen.
On a holy card I gave my son was a nice short prayer to St. Michael:
PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen..

and turned many hearts to follow God's will.
Now in our day,
in our ministry to the many
who come here searching for peace
and intercede for us
we come before the Lord with our special requests...
(Mention your special intentions here...)
O Blessed Saint of God,
from your throne among the hosts of heaven,
present our petitions before our faithful Lord.
May your prayers on our behalf be heard
and may God grant us the grace
to lead good and faithful lives.
Amen
Saint Francis of Assisi, pray for us.
He is known as the patron saint of animals, the environment and peace, feast day is 4 October.
O Beloved Saint Francis,
gentle and poor,
your obedience to God,
and your simple,
deep love for all God's creatures
led you to the heights of heavenly perfection
and turned many hearts to follow God's will.

St Thomas Aquinas
Not so much a novena but this is such a wonderful prayer it needs to be shared. Also the prayer for schools, as our young children need guidance, especially today.
St. Thomas Aquinas, priest and doctor of the Church, patron of all universities and of students. His feast day is January 28th.
Prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas
Grant me, O Lord my God,
a mind to know you,
a heart to seek you,
wisdom to find you,
conduct pleasing to you,
faithful perseverance in waiting for you,
and a hope of finally embracing you.
Amen.
Saint Thomas Aquinas, you are called by Holy Mother Church, the Angel of the Schools. Your wisdom, gathered through long meditation from the source of all wisdom, the most holy Trinity, has long been a shining light in the Catholic Church. Ignorance of the things of God is a darkness now enveloping the minds of many of our countrymen. In this darkness, we need an angel like you who will protect, foster, and nourish the schools we have, and guide and strengthen us in establishing and building newer and more adequate schools for the instruction of our children in the ways of Christ. Help and bless the generous sisters, brothers, and priests who labor so unselfishly in the classroom to spread the knowledge of Christ. Inspire our Catholic men and women to be most generous in the support of the schools we have. Grant to parents the wise generosity they need to give their child back to God when that child wishes to follow a priestly or religious vocation. Help us, Saint Thomas, Angel of the Schools, to understand what you taught, and to follow your example. Amen.

Good St. Anne
Before I start on the novena to St. Anne (the mother of our Blessed Mother Mary) I want to requests prayers for my niece, Liz, who will be going through surgery later today. Your prayers for a speedy recovery and that all goes well would be appreciated.
My special prayer for Liz is the Memorare to St. Anne (to obtain some special favor)
Amen
(The Hail Mary:
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art you amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
Now for the 9 day prayer - The Novena to Good St. Anne
O Glorious St. Anne, filled with compassion
for those who invoke thee and with love for those who suffer,
heavily laden with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself
at thy feet and humbly beg of thee to take under thy special
protection the present affair which I commend to thee.
(State Your Petition)
Be pleased to commend it to thy daughter, the
Blessed Virgin Mary, and lay it before the throne of Jesus,
so that He may bring it to a happy outcome. Cease not to
interceded for me until my request is granted. Above all,
obtain for me the grace of one day beholding my God face to face,
and, with thee and Mary and all the Saints, of praising
and blessing Him for all eternity. Amen.
Good St. Anne, mother of her who is our life,
our sweetness and our hope, pray to her for us and obtain
our request (three times)

Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
I should have really posted this one first. This speaks for itself!
The Novena
O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You,
I Love You, and with a lively sorrow for my sins, I offer You this
poor heat of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient
of Your will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You.
Protect me in the midst of danger; comfort me in my afflictions;
give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing
on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.
Let us pray:
Almighty and everlasting God, look upon the Heart of Your
well-beloved Son and upon the praise and satisfaction which
He offers You in the name of sinners; and as they seek Your mercy,
be please to grant them forgiveness in the name of Your Son,
Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You forever and ever.
Amen

Novena to St. Joseph
St. Joseph, spouse of Mary, Step-father to Joseph, he is the model to all who are devoted to labor.
NOVENA PRAYER
*(prayer to be said at the end of each day's devotion)
Saint Joseph, I, your unworthy child, greet you. You are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that I have special confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, I place all my hope of salvation in you, for you are especially powerful with God and will never abandon your faithful servants. Therefore I humbly invoke you and commend myself, with all who are dear to me and all that belong to me, to your intercession. I beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon me during life and to assist me at the hour of my death.
Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may merit to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore:
(Mention your request).
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. Amen.
MEMORARE
Remember, most pure spouse of Mary, ever Virgin, my loving protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection or asked for your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding, therefore, in your goodness, I come before you and humbly implore you. Despise not my petitions, foster-father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen.

St. Jude Thaddeuss
St. Jude is considered the patron saint for hopeless cases. Many people overlook this saint since his name is so similar to Judas. St. Jude was one of the chosen 12 Apostles. You will see this Novena with a thank you posted in newspapers from many who sought his intercession. The Novena Prayer To Saint Jude:
Most Holy Apostle, St. Jude,
faithful servant and friend of Jesus:
the name of the traitor who delivered your
beloved Master into the hands of His
enemies has caused you to be forgotten
by many, but the Church honors and
invokes you throughout the
world as the patron of hopeless cases.
Pray for me, make use, I implore you,
of that particular privilege accorded
to you to bring visible and speedy
help where help is most desired.
Come to my assistance in this great need,
that I may receive the consolation
and comfort of Heaven in all my needs,
tribulations, and sufferings, particularly
(Here make your request)
and that I may praise God with you and all
the elect forever. Amen

St. Anthony of Padua
St. Anthony of Padua - known as the Saint for Lost or Stolen items. He is also the Saint for travel, sailors. St. Anthony has heard my prayers so often, not just for the above but for obtaining inner peace and so much more...As stated in the prayer he is known for the saint of miracles.
Prayer to St. Anthony:
O Holy St. Anthony,
gentlest of saints, your love for
for God and Charity for His creatures
made you worthy even on earth
to possess miraculous powers.
Miracles waited on your word
which you were ever ready to
speak for those in trouble or anxiety.
Encouraged by this, I implore you
to obtain for me my request......
(here mention your intention)
The answer to my prayer may require
a miracle; even so,
you are the Saint of miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony,
whose heart is ever full of
human sympathy, whisper my petition
into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus,
who loved to be enfolded in your arms,
and the gratitude of my heart will be ever yours.

Do you understand what a Novena is?
A novena is a 9 day prayer requesting the saint to take our request to God. It is like asking a friend to pray for you. This is a simple explanation, I am sure there are better ones, but for me it is what I am doing. Asking for intercession with someone who is sitting close to our Lord. I am going to share one of my favorite novenas now, and will be adding more as days go by. This doesn't mean your petition will be answered the way you want, but God knows what is best for us.
Novena to St Therese, the Little Flower:
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus,
please pick for me a rose
from the heavenly gardens and
send it to me as a message of love.
O Little Flower of Jesus, Ask God
today to grant the favors I now place
with confidence in your hands.
(mention specific request now)
St Therese help me to always
believe, as you did, in God's great
love for me, so that I might
imitate your "Little Way" each day.
Amen
With this novena is has been told that you could receive a rose around the fifth day unexpectedly. Meaning, it came from someone you would not have expected. Or you might find your surroundings filled with the scent of roses. As a sign your request will be granted.
